How Can Burning Sensation In The Vagina Be Treated?
I had a urinary infection few days ago and I used a home remedy by inserting it in my vagina now I feel little bit of discomfort in my vagina like a light burning sensation. I guess it s an infection caused by the home remedy I used. Can I use Elica-M by applying a little bit of the cream inside my vagina???
Hello, i can understand your concern. Do not use Elica m inside your vagina. You can use a betadine(povidone iodine) pessary instead. this is an anti septic. I would suggest not to use any home remedies or any medications inside your private parts without doctor's advise. Vagina is a sensitive region and insertion may lead to inflammation and infections. You would have to see your gynecologist who would do a per vaginal examination and a speculum examination to check for any tears and injuries, and presence of any remnants inside the vagina. You might have to use a course of antibiotics for the infection to heal. meanwhile avoid sexual intercourse during this period.
Hope i have answered your query. Wish you a speedy recovery
