Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The bursitis management depends upon the symptoms, clinical signs and intensity as per the radiologic evaluation. My suggestions at present:
Local application of ice pack and heating pad alternately.
Oral medications in form of anti inflammatory drugs, steroids and other supportive measures.
Control of body weight, blood sugar.
Surgery in drug resistant cases if particular joint is severely problematic.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
