Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
3yr old has had a chalazion for 2 months..warm compression is not helping. I ve also tried green tea bag hot compressions, not helping either. It looks like its getting bigger. Its already pea sized. Im afraid surgery is the only option her eye dr will give me. What should i do. I don t like seeing her eye in the state its in.
hello, i can understand your concern for your kid. chalazion is a painless lump on the eyelid. smaller lumps might go on its own. but majority would require a surgical removal. it is a minor procedure with minimal complications. i would advise you to consult an opthalmologist who would do the required surgery. Hope i have answered your query. Have a nice day
