General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello,
i can understand your concern for your kid.
chalazion is a painless lump on the eyelid. smaller lumps might go on its own.
but majority would require a surgical removal. it is a minor procedure with minimal complications. i would advise you to consult an opthalmologist who would do the required surgery.
Hope i have answered your query. Have a nice day
