How Can Chest Congestion And Clogged Ears Be Treated?
I have been sick for a few weeks with a bad cold. I ve had the usual symptoms, congestion, cough, and clogged ears. I am still dealing with most of the symptoms and can t figure out why it has not gotten much better. My left ear isn t clogged any longer but the right one is. I still have the cough and get congested and stuff up. Everyone else that has had this is better but I still have it.
You are having upper respiratory tract infection. You have congestion for many weeks. Hence to relive inflammation low dose steroid for five days can be prescribed.
You also need to given Levofloxacin like the antibiotic course for five to seven days. Meanwhile, steam inhalation with warm water three times a day can be beneficial.
Avoid excess spicy foods intake. If no improvement then consult otorhinolaryngologist for your detailed evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
