How Can Chest Congestion And Shortness Of Breath Be Treated?
I m having congestion and shortness of breath ... may be allergies. My pulse is 50. If I take a benedryl will it further lower my pulse. BP is 140/62. I ve been taking Tresiba for diabetes x 2 mos. My MD recently had me increase dose from 5 u to 10 u. Wondering if I may be having a side effect to that but don t want to panic so thought I d try the benedryl first.
Benadryl may cause altered heart rhythm. More number of patients mentioned that Benadryl causes raise heart rate. But it may vary by individuals. You are suffering from congestion may be due to the allergy or due to Infection.
Avoid cool drinks and alcohol, avoid smoking and do regular exercise. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling. If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
