How Can Chest Pain And Anxiety Be Treated When Suffering From Fever?
Helo sir my father has gone through angyoplasty three months back.. From last three days he is suffering from fever between 99- 101℉ also he is complaining a heart pinch and anxiety today We are giving him paracetamol tab fever is now stagnent between 98-99℉ Now pls help what should we do.. Also can we get an appointment of yours today...for his check up..
Based on the history you have shared, it doesn't seem to be due to his previous heart issues, but for heart pinch etc a fresh EKG may be sought.
A baseline blood workup including blood counts, inflammatory markers like ESR and CRP alongside urinalysis and chest x-ray should be sought to look for the focus of infection.
Meanwhile, OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen can be continued. If an elective appointment is delayed he can visit ER, for fresh EKG and fresh work up.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
