How Can Chest Pain Due To Lung Disease Be Treated?
My mother who is suffering from lung disease. CT Scan shows some lumps are there in both the lungs. We have already consulted with Cancer Specialist, he recommended some tests which includes FNSE / blood tests/USG on full abdomen. Seeing all the reports doctor advised to consult with chest specialist. His opinion very less possibilities of cancer, it may be due to other reasons. We consulted with chest specialist he said another X-Ray and Broncoscopy to be done. We keep on visiting doctor after doctor but so far no fruitful result with us, so far proper treatment has not started. Patient is suffering from pain, taking only crosin syrup. Tell me what to do? Kindly advise us what actually can be the disease and what we should do?
As per my clinical experience, the chest pain due to lung disease can be from various issues even other than cancer as sarcoidosis or other infiltrative or inflammatory immune conditions.
An FNAC is a must to proceed for the tissue pathology diagnosis and precise management guidelines.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
