How Can Chigger Bites Around The Waist Be Treated?

I thought I had chigger bites around my waist, 2 patch on right front and 6 patch on back. initially, itchy then becoming painful. I have been rather tired and have a general feeling of malaise. I am at 11/2 weeks since symptoms started. My chiropractor thought it looks like the end of shingles. I have had a shingles shot and don t feel my symptoms have been that severe. I know have swelling in my upper abdomen several inches above the bites . I just don t feel great. Can this all be connected?

2. Then apply an antiseptic to any welts.
3. Avoid scratching over the region, as this can cause infection.
4. Apply anti-itch medications like Hydrocortisone cream or calamine lotion over the region.
5. Avoid hot water bath and showers.
6. Take Tablet Paracetamol and anti-histamine medication Tablet Loratidine to overcome symptoms of malaise and itching.

It can take about one to three weeks for chigger bites to heal. Keep the region clean and hygienic. If the wound become infected or symptoms don’t improve, seek medical attention promptly.
