Hello,

Watery ear discharge is usually a clear fluid. The common cause of this discharge is water that accumulates in the ear immediately after an activity like swimming or having a bath. It can also be related to an infection. A visit at an ENT specialist is needed for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
