Hi,
Thanks for the query through HCM.
I understand your concern.
If laxatives are causing uncontrolled bowel movements ....you need few life style changes including forming timely bowel movement habits &at the same time strenghening your anal spincter.(the circular muscle at anus that controls anal relaxation & closure .
-exclude / get treatment for possible bowel infectin/infestation or food allwrgies ... in consultation with a gastroenterologist.
-Have a nurishing diet with good proteins, vitamin & minerals... which includes more of fresh vegetables, salads &fruits (sufficient fibers) &plenty of water.
Avoid fast food..oily &sticky food.
A big tumblwr of hot water with 1 tea spoon of honey & 15 -20 drops of lemon juice-taken as first thing in morning helps clearing of bowels.
-Have sufficient exercises for 45 minutes (which involves walking/running , abdominal exercises.
-Start going to toilet regularly at convinient time daily &try for bowel movement... specially after taking morning water intake.
-Do exercise for analspincter after clearing bowels daily (with a physio therapist's advise)
Regular efforts done would help you.
Thanks.
