How Can Chronic Cough And Breathing Difficulty In A Child Be Treated?
Hi, I have a querry regarding my 5years and 4months old daughter. Since last two years during the month of april, she develops this trouble of excessive coughing. Last to last year she was hospitalized and was given levolin nebulizer along with antibiaotics. Last year again due to breathlessness she was hospitalized and was given levolin and budecort nebulizer along with antibiotics. She was advised to use levolin and budecort puffs twice a day for one month. I used dz for 15days and the cobdition was better. I am taking the homeopathy treatment also since april last year. Last year july, she again had the same trouble of breathlessness and was hospitalised for the same. Nebulized with levolin and asthalin and was given some other anti allergic and antibiotics also. This year also she is having this trouble of cough and due to which she sometimes vommits watever she takes. I was giving her cetrizine syrup and asthalin nebulizer since last seven days. The doctor has said that now her chest is clear, for cough some cough syrup can be given and given montelukast 5 mg(od). Dr has suggested to give her asthalin puff in d morning if required. As my daughter has this trouble more during the morning hours......plesae advise is asthalin puff ok for the kid and which cough syrup will be good.
