General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I can understand your concern. You are probably having a case of lower respiratory tract infection along with asthma.
This will require a course of respiratory antibiotic like Azithromycin or levofloxacin.
Since the cough is present for more than a week now, kindly get the following tests done. Complete blood picture, ESR, Chest Xray.
Continue taking asthalin and budecort nebulization.
Add Tab Pulmoclear(acebrophylline + acetyl cysteine) this will help in clearing the mucus.
Consult your doctor for further management as these are prescription medications.

Hope i have answered your queries.
Thanks for choosing HCM.
Wishing you a speedy recovery
