How Can Chronic Cough And Cold In A Toddler Be Treated?

My 2.5 year old girl has been coughing through the night for 2 nights and throwing up twice a day for 3+ days now. I thought it was ok since she was getting over a cold but I m starting to worry after she threw up again. She went from coughing ALL night to coughing all day. Runny nose as well. No fever.

Babies and toddlers frequently vomit when afflicted by an upper respiratory tract infection. It is good that there is no fever though. Give supportive care like steam inhalation and warm clothing. Along with that you need to visit a pediatrician and commence on medications like antihistamines and cough syrups to ease the cold. Hope I helped you out. Thanks
