How Can Chronic Cough And Fever Be Treated?

Hi my father was suffering from cough nd fever frm past 2months doctor said he is suffering frm TB. He started taking medicines for TB frm past one week but still he is suffering frm fever. How long fever will be thr fr tb patient after stsrted taking medicines?

Fever is very commonly associated with TB. It can take 1 to 3 weeks to notice a decrease in fever when treatment is initiated, so he should respond soon.

If there is no response or the fever worsens then it is possible that he may be resistant to the medication chosen and he may need alternative medication or a longer course of treatment.
