How Can Chronic Cough And Nausea Be Treated?

32 yrs.old,no meds have the cold and flu,did have a flu shot, am a occupational therapist work actively in a hospital, have been sick for four days,I bed until today,because of cough and spitting up phlegm,nausea,took theraflu for severe cold and flu,last night, and this afternoon,now tonight,as instructed ,also took Afrin nose spray last night and tonight .I am able to breathe better as my nose was completely plugged before,kept down chicken soup and toast,alittle spit up,but first food in four days,sick from ginger ale so have been sipping on water,My problem is I feel like my legs are restless,walking around house,moving them,rubbed them with muscle cream,and used a a leg air massager.Could I have done some thing using the two meds,did not spray as much as instructed,did one spray in each nostril,each of the times.
