How Can Chronic Cough Be Treated?

Hello my daughter has a little bit of cough like barking cough, not regularly but occasionally. Little bit cold not much of running nose, so can I know whether any repsules are suggested or not? If so can i use what will be the best medicine I have already used one antibiotic Augmentin DDS and another cough syrup and the course is also completed.

Hi,

The investigation should be done to detect the cause of a cough. You have given the name of antibiotic. Blood analysis can be done if there is eosinophilia then she can be given Hetrazan. Culture and sensitivity of sputum be done and most effective antibiotic can be taken. This is the best antibiotic for now.
