How Can Chronic Cough Be Treated?
Hi. I m 62 years old. Very healthy. Took a trip to Europe 5 weeks ago. My first leg of the trip from S.F. To Atl I sat next to a 10ish year old with bad upper respiratory cough. His mom said he was on antibiotics. I knew I was doomed. Got to Paris 5 days later with common cold then to chest. Then coughing till I regurgitated. Got home4 weeks later. I m on 3 round antibiotics, 3rd bottle of cough syrup and first round of steroids I think Pertussis has all my symptoms. I m at 5 weeks now. I read no antibiotics will help now and do not use cough syrup. What can I do now?
