My 3yrs old daughter has a cough for the past 4 weeks, she had the persistent cough in March, she take Ataline 3 times daily, Astifen 2 times daily, cetirizine 5ml at night and the cough goes away until now when she start coughing again.can i repeat these medicines to stop the cough now again?
probably the cough is due to post nasal drip due to allergens. too much mucus will irritate the through causing a persistent cough and nasal congestion. You can start the medication again but also consider identifying allergens in the environment and getting rid of the one you can possible eliminate to reduce exposure and hence recurrence of the symptoms
