How Can Chronic Cough Be Treated?

Hi. I have been suffering from cough from last 1 year in between that I was dignised with TB and went through 9 months treatment. Treatment got over in july month. But my cough is still there. There is always heartburn after 10 mins of taking any food. Please advise me.

hello,
heartburn may indicate acute gastritis. for that you can take pantaprazole40mg once daily before breakfast. for your persistent cough it may be a lower respiratory problem. you haven't mentioned whether its dry cough or with sputum. use
deryphylline 150mg twice daily for 5 days
syrup ascaril 2 teaspoons thrice daily for symptomatic relief. but you should go to hospital for further examination whether you have TB relapse as soon as possible.
