Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been suffering from severe cough since 45 days now. I had 2 weeks of antibiotics (kefpod and claribid) course first. Followed by 2 weeks of Allegra and cough syrup (mucolite and rapitus). But there is no relief. The bouts of cough are still very strong and lead to severe urine incontinence! My chest x Ray report is normal and CBC is normal too. I am currently trying aerocort inhaler, which has reduced the intensity of the cough. But it hasn't eliminated the cough. What can be done? It's almost 2 months now since I have been suffering.
