How Can Chronic Cough In A Child Be Treated?
Just went to immediate care this afternoon. flu-like symptoms, without fever. Worse is the persistent cough... mine is productive; my daughter s non-productive. Delsym, and virtussin ac have not helped at all with the coughing. Our coughing bouts last 2-3 minutes, and sometimes are so violent that I can not catch my breath. Sore throat worsens that more we cough. Any suggestions for what might give of some relief?

It's most likely due to infection in the lung parenchyma. You should do an X-ray of the chest and start taking Tab Levofloxacin once a day and Tab Montair LC 1 tab twice daily. It will help relieve cough.
