How Can Chronic Cough In An Infant Be Treated?

Hello my daughter cough is almost 2 weeks.i gave her meptin but every night she s coughing I changed it to salbutamol asfrenon gf and she can manage to sleep.doctor gave her nasal and oral spray for allergy or asthma..she coughed out and it was yellow. Almost monthly she have coughed and result to antibiotic claritromycin.last x-ray she has patches infiltrates and inflammatory lungs process..what to do?I m worried because she almost took antibiotic to cure her cough

I can understand your concern.
His chest x ray is suggestive of lung infection (pneumonia).
Since his cough is not improved, better to get done repeat chest x ray to rule out worsening of pneumonia.
If chest x ray is clear or improving then no need to worry. Continue asthma drugs.
But chest x ray is worsening then he will need higher Intravenous antibiotics.
