Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 35 year old daughter has had sever diarrhea for two days. Her boyfriend took her to the emergency room and they sat and waited 2 hours. Boyfriend kept asking if they could move her up on the list. Her temperature would not register on 2 digital thermometers so they tried the old fashioned kind. Her temp was 94 F. Her boyfriend said her hands and face were turning blue. After 2 hours waiting and feeling so very sick and tired she begged him to take her home so she could lay down and sleep. Her father and I live about 2 hours away from the hospital and when we arrived, her boyfriend called our cell phone and told us he had taken her home. The only thing I could think of was dehydration. We bought Gatorade for her. She is covered with blankets. I don t know what else to do. She also has celiac sprue. I have no idea who you are and I am not going to give you my credit card information.
