How Can Chronic Pain In The Body Be Treated?

I am someone in a tremendous amount of pain and have been on pain meds for years, now it is nearly impossible to find a doctor to prescribe them, I feel this is also hurting people in real pain, I would honestly like to know what to do. giving up quickly!!
