Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I can understand you probably have a pain called 'phenton' pain if the nerves have been severed; this pain is felt in the distribution of the nerves beyond the area where it has been cut off (where the nerve does not exist). It's a bit difficult to understand but I can easily understand its severity and the discomfort it causes. Other possibility would be neuropthic pain if the nerves are yet intact. Whatever the pain need to be addressed ,there are a lot of drugs used for neuropathic pain, I personally like Duloxetine, I would suggest you talk to your doctor ,such patients are entered into pain management programs, it works well in controlling the pain. So talk to your doctor in this regards, I hope you find relief of the pain by one way or the other as there are different modalities that can control the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
