How Can Chronic Whooping Cough Along With Shortness Of Breath Be Treated?
When I was 2 yrs old I had whooping cough (i hadnt been vaccinated as it was deemed dangerous at the time) For the following 7 years, everytime the colds came around I would get whooping cough, just a little less severe than the year before. I am now 41 - i developed a tickle in the back of my throat yesterday, it makes me gasp for breath, and the only way to stop it is to suck a throat sweet .... this has happened many times before for several years, the last two years I have had chest infections severe enough to warrant antibiotics, and was prescribed a ventolin inhaler to assist with the coughing
You may be suffering from chronic allergies with repeated respiratory tract infection.
It may be due to environmental factors, mites, or air pollution, animal dander and food allergy etc.
Present you may be suffering from post nasal drip with bronchitis. Avoid cool'drinks and freeze water avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.
Use water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
