How Can Cold Along With Cough And Sneezing Be Treated?

Hi I am a 60 year old female. I have had cold (cough, sneezing, colored phlem, raspy voice since 12/20/17.) I have been taking over the counter multi cold during day and cough DM at night and occasionally a Sudafed. When would I need to see a doctor? I still have symptoms and am getting a tad better but not just yet.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear. Welcome to Healthcaremagic. I read your query and I understand your concern. I think you are not having only a cold or flu for so long time but something more complicated like bronchitis. You have to see a doctor. Maybe antibiotics are needed. Also benadryl can help 10 mg at night before sleep. .
Take care.
Hope my answer was helpful.
Best regards Dr Olgeta Xhufka ( general and family physician )
