How Can Cold And Headache Be Treated?

I was diagnosed on Sunday, but it is just like I have a cold--no flu symptoms except a headache the day I was diagnosed. The doctor said it was because I d had a flu shot in the Fall. Am I still contagious for the 3-7 days after my first symptoms? Sorry! Can t afford the $15.

Hello,

Simple cold requires only decongestant of which you can take tablet phenylephrine if you have not any heart problems or high blood pressure. For headache take tablet paracetamol eight hourly. Usually common cold takes 4-5 days to resolve. Drink plenty of water. Take proper rest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hiren Hirpara
