Understanding your concern. As per your query you have cold and hearing loss. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but it seems to me that the symptoms occur probably due to following reasons :-
- Firstly there can be chance that you have punctured your eardrum.
- Secondly there is very severe infection in your ear .
- Sometimes infection also spread from upper respiratory track to ear through eustachian tube.
I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order certain tests like CT scan and examine ear with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe stronger antibiotics at least or 10 days along with anti inflammatory , anti allergic and analgesic . Doctor may also recommend you patching of eardrum , tympanoplasty or hearing aid . Apply dry warm compresses on external ear.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
