How Can Cold, Cough And Fever In An Infant Be Treated?

Hello sir My 11 month girl is suffering from cold cough and fever. Doctor prescribed calpol 120 mg syrup but after giving 2 dose i got not accurate result. She has again 101 fever. Last dose of calpol i have given at 1900 hrs today. Hence for better result can i use mefatal p 2.5 ml after 2300 hrs ( i.e. after 4 hours of calpol dose given). Plz suggest sir.

As per your history, you already consulted with pediatrician. You can give Calpol every 6 hourly. Your child may require Phenylephrine and antibiotics for fever after consultation. Continue breast feeding and light feeding. Take care.
