How Can Cold, Occasional Nasal Bleeds With Odor Be Treated?

i did a DNS, HT and Sinus surgery. I had occational nose bleeds. However, i think now i got a severe cold and due to this has caused a picular dirty smell and makes me sick. I dont quite know if there is a problem or if this is normal. Should i visit an ENT specialist or a regular doctor?

Hi,

Noted your history of undergoing surgery for DNS- deviated nasal septum, HT that hypertrophied turbinates, and sinuses; developed severe cold and bad smell, wants to know what to do.
Surely you have to consult an ENT Surgeon as you have been operated on ENT problem and your GP may not be in a position to understand the problems fully.
There is a possibility of infection in nose and around hence may need a proper nasal endoscopy to know the exact problem, may be a CT scan.
You may need prescription based antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and other medicines depending upon the nasal and sinus conditions.
