How Can Common Cold Be Treated While On Metoprolol?

I have a cold and am on metoprolol. I do not take this because of high blood pressure, but I had a heart flutter and am on it for a few months to ensure it is gone after I had a procedure where they jumped my heart. What cold meds would be safe to take with metoprolol?

Betablockers are not known to have interaction with antihistaminics. So you can take common antihistaminics like chlorpheniramine or nonsedative antihistaminics like levocetrizine safely with beta blocker.
