Since surgery had been done 2-3 years back, get clinically examined by your treating surgeon to rule out more polyps or any other complication that is causing you symptoms. If you have history of sinusitis you are suggested to get it treated first. Get required investigations done to detect the pathology causing you symptoms.
In the meantime, you can do sinus flushes (also called irrigations) twice per day for relieve of symptoms. Steam inhalation and decongestants can be helpful. Topical nasal steroids may help relieve inflammation. In case new nasal polyps are detected, you may need medications to help shrink the polyps, which can be enough to relieve your symptoms.
If this doesn't work, your doctor will talk to you about surgery. Nasal polyp surgery can be uncomfortable but is sometimes necessary to improve breathing.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
