General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I do not think that these lung problems come from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. I would say that these lung problems make the heart work more difficult.

Smoking is the most common cause of obstructive lung disease, and episodes of pulmonary embolism cause the restrictive part.

For the restrictive part it is very important chronic anticoagulation. I suggest you to go to a pulmonologist for the right treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anila Skenderi
