How Can Constant Left-sided Abdominal Pain Be Treated?

I have been recently diagnosed with gall stones and fatty liver at age 62. while I can believe I have both, my pain is not on my right side it is left side to mid, sometimes burning or little stabs, sometimes just aggravating enough to know something is wrong. This pain begins within several minutes after finishing a meal. The pain lasts for a few hours. It is not after every meal, at other times of day I have pain. I have a hx of GERD at night, not significant of recent. I have been faithful with taking 2 aspirin 81 mg at HS due to hx of flat polyps.

Hi,

You need further examinations. You can do an ultrasound and also a fybroscopy that is the insertion of a camera tube to see the mucosal lining of the gastrointestinal system.

Even your pancreas may be compromised and pancreatic is possible. You should test even pancreatic enzymes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
