hi sir/mam,i can understand your concern.in most of the diabetics i care, diet is very poorly controlled.they assume that as they are on insulin or other diabetic medications, high calorie foods and sugar containing beverages can be taken.added to this, most of the people dont exercise regularly.i usually advise my patients to follow a strict diet regimen combined with a brisk walk or any kind of exercise for 35 to 40 min/day atleast 5days a week.regarding gastritis, she can use tab.RABEPRAZOLE before food.lactulose syrup 10ml 1hr before sleep would help her constipation.also high fiber diet is recommended.let her follow diabetic diet and exercise along with her usual medication for 1 week.certainly you can notice a great change in her fasting glucose levels.also after 1week,HbA1C testing is recommended.hope my answer has clarified your doubts.if you still have any issues, please do not hesitate to ask.thank you.take care.bye.
