I haven t been able to defecate in about 48 hours. I m not particularly uncomfortable and I don t feel a need to, but usually I defecate at least once a day so this seems off to me. I ve been pretty good about fiber in my diet, but no results. What should I do?
According to your complain you have problem of constipation that may be because of lack of fiber and water intake in diet.
Lack of gastric motility may cause constipation problem.
Take more fiber food per day . Take fruits like peach, kiwi and avocado etc... Avoid gaseous foods like cabbage, cauliflower, carbonated drinks etc..
Take bulk forming agent like psyllium is helpful to you.. After taking this much care still symptoms are present than consent a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis.
I hope my guidance helpful to you.. Take care. Thank you.
