How Can Constipation Be Treated?
I took hydro codons for pain in my shoulder a few days ago. Today I had difficulty going to the bathroom due to severe constipation. Took two dulcolax at 10 am,no effect. Tried glycerine supp. Nothing.have Avery bad cramps,pain right now. Went to the restroom many times nothing.my son let me took Phillips magnesia at 5pm I in so much pain level 10.do I need to go emergency. Feel nauseated. Please help thank you

If you are having abdominal pain and nausea you may need to see a doctor since there may be an obstruction. You could try an enema at home first but if that does not work you need to be seen right away. Enema preparations can be purchased at most pharmacies.
