Hi,

As per your query you are having symptoms of constipation in toddler which could be due to many reasons such as due to decreased gastric motility, inadequate intake of fluids and fiber-rich diet and eating a lot of dairy products.

Need not to worry. You should avoid intake of sharp, spicy and hot food substances. I would suggest you consult a gastroenterologist for proper examination and start treatment accordingly. The doctor may prescribe fiber supplement, osmotic laxatives, and stool softeners. You should start drinking a lot of water. You can try Dulcolax suppository for immediate relief and can give Lactulose.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
