Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 17 month daughter struggles with constipation, has a distended tummy, has never liked to stand on our lap or floor from birth to now. if she stands she stands on the side of her feet with her toes curled in. She uses her feet like a monkey-will bring toys to her hands with her feet. she loves to eat and plays happily. When we try walking with her she walks a little ways and then just sits down and refuses to walk any farther. Her diet is 90 percent veggies & fruit because of her constipation, which still doesn t seem to help. She is on Magnesium citrate right now.
I can understand your concern. As per history for chronic constipation you can give tablet Bisacondyl per rectally as per his weight. Give him more salad. Give lot of fluids. Give light food with less fat.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
