How Can Contact Dermatitis On The Hands Be Treated?
Last week I was wiping expo markers off alot of work sheets and the rag that I was using had so much expo marker on it that my hand turned blue. Later that night I noticed on half of the top of both of my hands was a darker skin color, it was a bit itchy but I just tried to avoid itching it. I put cortazone and took benadryl and have been doing so for the past week but it s not going away. If there is any way to send a picture to you if you think you may know what it is and how I could get rid of it is greatly appreciated. My doctor thinks it s irritant contact dermatitis but I haven t found picture that looked like mine. It s not bumps. It just looks like I got a tan on half of both of my hands

Hello, The best remedy is to avoid such things which cause such problems to your skin. However, if you have encountered the allergy you are using the right thing to overcome the allergy. I suggest you to consult your doctor for a prescription as some of the medicine you can not buy over the counter. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
