My 5 year old daughter has 2 corns on the bottom of her feet and another on a toe. We have been treating with corn pads that have medicine in them but it s a slow process. Any recommendations on how to go about this that won t terrify my daughter even more?

Hello,

The best way to treat corn is by wearing protective pads and applying medicated corn caps. It is a slow process but that is the best way to go about it. You can get it trimmed by a medium professional but that may not be suitable as your daughter is small. Meanwhile it is very important to wear the right fitted shoes to avoid this condition in future. If she has too much pain you can give her an over the counter medication like Tylenol.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
