How Can Cough And Cold In An Infant Be Treated?

Hi Sir, My daughter of 11 month old and she is suffering with cold and cough for 8 days. Doctor prescribed them levolin and budesol for nebulization for 2-3 time for a day. What for these medicines used ?? will those medicines help in cure cold and cough?? pls help me out?? giving nebulization is safe for children or any side effects.

Hello,

Giving nebulizer of corticosteroids is safe and useful in infants of that age. Probably she may need to take antibiotics too if suspected bacterial infection.
