How Can Cracked Skin On The Fingers Be Treated?

I have severe, deep cracks on my fingers. They used to come and go, but they are pretty much here all the time now. They bleed, are painful, and they seldom heal. When they do heal, it is for a short time. I have tried everything. I am using Clobetasol Propianate Ointment and also use antibiotic salve and keep fingers taped.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If the lesions are on fingers only it may be contact dermatitis but if found on other parts also it may be psoriasis.

Take tablet Levocetirizine two times plus tablet Prednisolone two times a day for one week.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Varinder Joshi
