Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a nscl cancer patient from 2007. Recently I have completed 25th dose of Alimta 800 mg in the month of January,17, as maintenance course. By that time my cretanine went to 2.2. At present the cretanine is 1.81. Is there any possibility to lower the cretanine at normal range ? Begum Shakhawatun, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
In many surgical conditions, creatinine becomes chronically elevated to some higher side by kidney compensation.
Still continuing hydration maintenance with plenty of liquids, avoidance of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs will help to keep creatinine at the best levels.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
