Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 69 yr old female from tri cities, wa. Dehydration hit. We are having severe heat and smoke from the wild fires. We are following the medical alerts, I was pealing skin, 107 to 110 temps, but the diarrhea set in two days ago. I am chug alluging the fluids, bananas and Acidophilus Yogurt. I want to know why the boweldiarhea is a bright mustard color. Why? A lot of ill people here. Weather reports and warnings predict over another week of this. I thank you for your opinion.
I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your dehydration and diarrhea.
As per your history the diarrhea seems to me because of protozoan infection most Gardia. Mustard color or yellow colour diarrhea is because of Gardiasis.
You need to take plenty of fluids and ORAL REHYDRATION SOLUTION (ORS) to keep your self rehydrated. You also must consult the general physician for further evaluation.
Hope my answer will help you and come back to Healthcaremagic.com for any further assistance.
Regards Dr Muzaffer Hussain Parray.
