She s not interested in taking a bath, going to get a hair cut, or any of the normal daily functions. She just sleeps, smokes, and drinks coffee. She has been diagnosed with dementia. Hi,

The detailed history with counselling is a very pivotal part of this case management, as there can be childhood trauma, PTSD or other behavior disorders responsible for the same. Treatment is multi factorial as:

- Regular counselling sessions with an expert psychologist.
- Supportive medications as per the case evaluation.
- De-addiction should be the primary concern.
- Balanced nutritious diet supplements.
- Home and relatives support is must.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
