My brother was diagnosed with Dengue positive and on 1st day we did his CBC his platelet was 70000 and next day 43000. We are advised to admit him. After one day gap we did his CBC today. We are waiting for the report. He has not high fever. He is 28 years old. Pl advise

Dengue is a viral infection and just like most viral infections, plenty of fluids and rest is recommended.However if platelet count continues to drop or drops below 50,000, as in your brother's case,blood transfusion is considered. Please make sure his vitals such as blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate and temperature are kept in check. Hope this helps.
