Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I am currently taking Wellbutrin sr mg 100 along with Zoloft mg 100 and Rexulti mg 2. I still feel depressed and no energy. I ve been tested for any other reasons, and nothing is wrong. Just depressed and anxious. Should I ask to up the milligrams on my Wellbutrin???? Thank you
If you have been using these medications for more than 3 weeks with no response then your doctor can consider altering the dose of the wellbutrin to see if this helps. This should only be done along with your doctor.
If there is no response to this change or your doctor does not believe this would be helpful then he or she , along with you, may want to consider changing to a different medication.
A change in medication or dose and intensification of counselling such as cognitive behavior therapy, would be helpful. Cognitive behavior therapy looks at ideas, perceptions or concepts that may be affecting behavior or attitudes and finds ways of altering them.
I hope this helps
