Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Itching is very common during pregnancy. It is due to a combination of dry skin and effects of hormones. It can be especially hard for a person with dermatophagia to control the urge to itch or bite the skin. You can safely take Cetirizine at bedtime to relieve itching. Also apply soothing calamine lotion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
